Scott Beall — guitarist, composer, songwriter, and educator

In his words:
"Music is the universal language of our common humanity, a mode of expression that is not bound by culture, historical era, or even specific fields of knowledge; it is the voice of a higher human consciousness. It is this idea that prompts Ravi Shankar to believe that music can lift humanity to a more promising future, more so than the efforts of dialog, intellectualizing, politics and scientific thinking. Indeed, music is the voice of the human soul, and it may be that paying more attention to that voice is what humanity needs to be in accord with itself and the natural world."
