Curriculum Development and
Program Implementation Workshop

 

This two day workshop provides participants with:

• A classroom set of DoRight Enterprises curricular materials.
• Professional development in interdisciplinary project-based instructional strategies.
• Lesson plans that integrate community action for sustainability with standards-based content in math, living environment, english language arts, and social studies.
• A unique workshop format that enables teachers to create original unit designs from 8 instructional segments and 3 culminating project options.
• Knowledge, skill and follow-up support to implement DoRight Enterprises curricular programs in classrooms, after school programs, home school applications, or in community centers.

Credit: In-service credit based on district policy
Fee: $165

the Programs tab, then click on the Search Catalog button. Double click on the workshop name. On the
next screen select the Click to Enroll button and follow the instructions to register. Print your registration form and send it and a check payable to BOCES, to: Patti Pfister, P/NW BOCES CEE, 200 BOCES Dr., Yorktown Heights, NY 10598. For information call Dorna Schroeter at 914/248-2335.
Registration with $100 deposit is required by June 16, 2008; balance due 2 weeks prior to first class.
Refunds will not be given for participants withdrawing from a course less than 10 days before the course
start date. Any cancellation prior to 10 days will be subject to a $40 fee.
